Plant some seeds and glowing flowers grow, illuminating everything around them. (Munch on a glowing flower and your character will glow for a few minutes, too.) Even in the darkest places, lightning bugs circle in packs, hidden ore deposits glitter in the gloom, even the slime trails of disgusting monsters give off a welcome bit of illumination.
And while bosses amp up the challenge, the crafting-focused sandbox design is suitable for people who are less interested in hardcore fighting and more interested in base-building. 1. Combat exp gain - It works the same as in Skyrim, so each hit gives 1 exp, and this system was flowed in that game as it is in this game. The game punishes the player for playing with slower weapons that deal more damage, and also punishes them for just getting stronger, which is bizzare. This system also makes some classes way less enjoyable to play than others, where Ranged can easily get to max level as they get massive amounts of exp from souls and just their weapons being quite fast, meanwhile a class like Magic is absolutely shafted as they have very slow attacks that deal a lot of damage, while also requiring the use of mana to even be able to deal the damage.
It all shapes up into a very inviting experience that teases dense design layers down the road. Even in early access, these feel like the raw materials of a multiplayer survival sim that will draw an enduring audience. I can’t wait to see how it keeps growing.
Conveyor Belt to move enemies in a mob farm, or collect loose items and potentially store them automatically with a Robot Arm.
Killing Glurch spawns a chest with a few random items and a crystal. Take all of the items (and the chest!), then put the crystal in Glurch's statue near the Core. This will partially power the Core and open up a few new crafting recipes at the Glurch statue.

And I've got a nice dirt patch where I can plunk down seeds, I dug a long trench from a pond all the way to my base so I can fill my watering can without having to venture out, and I've even got a patch of rock set up to grow my new carrots (they're actually called carrocks, since they only grow on rock).
